- Systemic Connective Tissue Disorders and Vasculitis (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus, Wegener’s Necrotizing Vasculitis and other forms of vasculitis).
- Metabolic bone diseases (Osteoporosis, Morbus Paget).
- Neuropathies such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome.
- Autoinflammatory disease
The doctors of the Rheumatology Service at the International Turkish Hospital, in addition to working in this service, also offer consultations to aid in the diagnosis of patients admitted to other services of this hospital and who have presented, among other things, elements of rheumatic diseases.
In the Rheumatology Service at the International Turkish Hospital, the use of modern laboratory and imaging techniques enable a quick and accurate diagnosis of rheumatic diseases. In this direction, an important role is also played by:
- Hematological and biochemical examinations.
- Immunological examinations.
- The most modern imaging techniques starting from a digital X-ray to continuing with magnetic resonance MRI, PET-CT, musculoskeletal echography, etc.
- Collaborations with other specialities for obtaining biopsy and histopathological assessment of affected organs in the case of multi-organ effects from systemic inflammatory diseases of a rheumatic nature.

- Outpatient Service, where all patients who come to see a rheumatologist are welcomed.
- Day service in which mainly patients are hospitalized who do not need prolonged stays in the hospital but who need to carry out medical therapy for which dynamic follow-up is necessary for several hours by the medical and nursing staff, such as taking medicines intravenously (biological drugs, anti-osteoporosis drugs, etc.).
- Hospital service with beds in which patients are hospitalized who need a more careful evaluation and complete treatment until their health condition is stabilized.
